During the installation and application of flexible cables, special attention must be paid to the bending radius of flexible cables in order to better ensure the normal use and service life of cables.
Mobile flexible cables are different from fixed flexible cables. Please refer to the following installation and common problems during installation:
1. The laying of flexible cables shall not be distorted, i.e. the cables cannot be released from one end of the cable wire rope drum or cable reel. Instead, the cable shall be rotated to the wire rope drum or cable reel first. If necessary, the cables can be carried out or hung up, so that the cables in this place can only be obtained from under the cable reel at the same time;
2. Be sure to pay attention to the minimum bending radius of flexible cable;
3. Flexible cables must be loosely laid in parallel in the drag chain, separated and sequenced as much as possible, separated with spacers or passed through the peeling cracks of the supporting overhead. The clearance between cables in the drag chain shall be at least 10% of the cable diameter;
4. The flexible cables in the drag chain shall not touch each other or be trapped together;
5. Both aspects of the flexible cable need to be fixed, or at least at the movable end of the drag chain. Generally, the distance between the moving point of the cable and the top of the drag chain shall be 20-30 times of the cable diameter;
6. Please ensure that the flexible cable moves completely within the bending radius, that is, it cannot be forced to move. So that the cables can move relative to each other or to the guiding device. After a period of use, it is best to check the cable position. The inspection must be carried out after the sliding door is moved;
7. If the drag chain is broken, its flexible cable must also be replaced, and the damage caused by excessive stretching cannot be prevented.
