The Difference Between Variable Frequency Cable And Ordinary Power Cable

Model difference:

Frequency conversion cable common models are BP-YJVP, BP-YJLV, BP-YJVP1-2, BP-YJGP2, BP-YJVP3, BP-YJLVP1-2, BP-YJGRP and so on.

Power cable commonly used power cable models VV, VV22, YJV, YJV22 and aluminum core cable VLV, YJLV and fire retardant power cable ZR-VV, NH-YJV and mineral insulated fire resistant cable BTTZ, YTTW and power cable BV, RV and so on. Voltage level: The working voltage of the frequency conversion cable is generally: 0.6/1KV, 6/10KV, 8.7/16KV. The voltage of the power line is roughly the same as that of the variable frequency cable. There are also 35kV, high-voltage cables (110kV and above), UHV cables (275-800kV) and UHV cables (1000kV and above). The voltage of power cables is ultra-high voltage, and the voltage of frequency conversion cables is generally medium voltage and low voltage.

Structural difference:

The core wire structure of the frequency conversion cable is arranged in parallel, and the insulation adopts high strength extruded type. Each individual core wire adopts different shielding layers, including three main insulated wires, three neutral insulated wires. The main insulated wires and neutral insulated wires are composed of 33 core structures successively by inner cladding, copper tape layer, outer cladding layer and outer sheath layer, which makes the cable have strong voltage shock resistance. It can withstand the pulse voltage of high speed and frequent frequency conversion, and it has a good protection effect on the inverter.

The power cable is an ordinary extruded core cable with a single core without shielding.
