This set PDK81604-1SMF contains 600 meters of single-mode fiber cable, equipped with a whole set of underwater fiber connectors.

For use with ROVs (remont operated vehicles)and other underwater vehicles, PDK81604-1SMF is a premium solution.

 

The cable is double jacket fiber cable, at 5.0mm in diameter, it has a tensile strength of more than 300 kg, and its density nearly matches that of seawater. The outer PUR jacket provides the cable with a smooth, durable, and wear-resistant surface.

 

The connectors are designed to offer reliable fiber optic connection in a minimum-sized connector. Specifically designed for subsea equipment, the low insertion loss and low back reflection make this connector perfect for high-speed data and video transmission. The rugged stainless steel design ensures the connector is robust and reliable whether on the deck of a vessel, on a platform, or when deployed at high ocean depth. The whole connector set includes a bulkhead connector, an inline connector sulfurized onto the cable, and 2 dummy connectors for protection. The long-length cable grip offers high-strain release and protects the connectors from pulling force.
