With the continuous rise of industrial automation industry, flexible cable has occupied a very important position in the industry. In order to avoid twisting and breaking of flexible cable in use and affect production, the flexible cable production industry has put forward some standard requirements.
Next, I will explain the basic standard requirements of flexible cables:
Standard 1: it must have high flexibility and good bending resistance. It is better to have waterproof, cold resistant and high temperature resistant characteristics.
Standard 2: it must be laid orderly and the drag chain must not be twisted. Therefore, the streamer can be quickly laid and intercepted during use;
Standard 3: during laying design, the drag chain must have an accurate and definite minimum bending radius. This standard mainly allows consumers to choose to buy according to their own needs;
Standard 4: the drag chain cable must be loosely arranged in the drag chain, and there must be a certain gap between the cables. The gap size should be greater than 10% of the cable diameter. It is better that each cable is fixed in the drag chain so that the cables in the drag chain will not touch each other.
Standard 5: the cable and the drag chain must be integrated, that is, when the drag chain of the cable is broken or damaged due to tension and needs to be replaced, the cable in the drag chain must also be replaced accordingly.
Standard 6: it must be able to move within its bendable radius.
Standard 7: the movable end must be fixed. Of course, both sections of the drag chain cable should be fixed.
Standard 8: the above standards basically solve the problems that may occur during the use of flexible cables, and greatly reduce the probability of production affected by the failure of flexible cables.
