1、 Low resistance and sufficient impact toughness are required for conductor connection, and no oblique angle is allowed at the connection.
2、 In case of severe heating at the contact, contact the substation or the responsible unit to reduce the line load at the point.
3、 The conductor connection with the cable is generally riveted. Pay attention to crimping joints and select conductor connecting pipes with appropriate conductivity and impact toughness.
4、 Many cables have internal shielding layers, and flexible cables are no exception. When making joints, it is necessary to repair part of the internal shielding layers of crimped conductors and leave part of the internal semiconductor shielding of cables. In this way, the internal shielding of joints on the connecting pipe can be connected to each other to ensure the continuity of the internal semiconductors, and then make the magnetic field strength distribution at the joints uniform. Outer semiconductor shield is a kind of semiconductor raw material, which has the function of symmetrical electrostatic field outside the insulation layer of cable and cable joint. Like the inner semiconductor shield, it plays a key role in cables and cable joints. The external semiconductor port number must be neat and symmetrical, and be smoothly connected with the insulation layer. The cable joint shall be provided with semiconductor tape and overlapped with the semiconductor shielding reinforcement outside the flexible cable.
